Solar Electronis has developed tunable modules which, when used with their Universal Transient Generator, enable test engineers to apply damped sine wave pulses to a test sample over the full range of 10 KHz to 100 MHz at the levels stipulated in MIL-STD-461C/D/E and other specifications. Their Solar Model 2654-1 Lightning Generator synthesizes electrical impulses needed for testing susceptibility to transients induced in aircraft equipment by lightning strikes.
